Privacy

This notice covers what happens to the details you send us through this site, when you apply for a site or ask a question. If you book a workshop on a coach's or gym's own site, that site's privacy notice covers it instead.

Who we are

Build Your Game is a brand of Digital Doctrine Ltd, which decides how your details are used. Company details are on the terms page. To ask about your data, email contact@buildyourgame.co.uk.

What we collect

• If you apply: your name, email, whether you are a coach or a gym, your belt if you're a coach, your gym or club name, your Instagram handle if you give it, your town or city, whether you have photos we can use, and the workshops you describe, with any photos you add.
• If you ask a question: your email and your question.

What we use it for

To reply to you, and if you apply, to talk to you about building your site. We use your details because you asked us to get in touch. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this site, sends the email that brings your message to us, and stores any photos you upload. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is sent by a person, not a bot. This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

If you ask a question, we keep it for 12 months after our last email with you, then delete it.

If you apply and we don't go on to build your site, we keep your application and its photos for 12 months after our last email with you, then delete them. If we do build your site, we keep them for as long as we run it. After that we keep only what the law asks a company to keep in its business records.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
